 | Established as a brewery in 1466, today U Medvídků is a restaurant, beer hall and hotel. Beer is still brewed on the premises, including the X Beer 33 which the establishment claims has the highest alcohol content of any beer in the world.
The restaurant offers traditional Czech cuisine as well as other pork, beef, chicken and wild game dishes from animals grown on their own free range farms. But go into the beer hall to the right to dine in an authentic Czech pub.
In spite of its obvious tourist appeal, the restaurant remains a favorite spot for locals. Stop in and sample the home-brewed Czech beer in a real medieval ale house and try out some hearty Czech cuisine while you're at it.
