Founded in 1902, Cafe Louvre is a Prague tradition as well as a good choice for a morning coffee, a midday drink, or a quick meal. The menu offers a number of tempting breakfast options as well as a diverse selection of lunch and dinner dishes based on Czech specialties, alongside a few international standards. Albert Einstein, Franz Kafka, and Karel Kapek have been among the regulars at this establishment. Today the restaurant / cafe offers 3 separate rooms (including a non-smoking room) an outdoor summer terrace and a billiards room with 5 large tables. The clientele is balanced mix of the well-to-do, the upscale and the tourist. Free wi-fi is available in the Gallery on the floor below.
