Cheap Prague Luxury HotelsPrague offers hotels that are a match for the standard of quality found anywhere in Western Europe, but the Prague hotel prices are often on the same level too. That means that you'll have to look around quite a bit if you want to find cheap Prague hotels offering high level standards at budget prices. Since most travellers usually choose to stay in or around Prague Old Town (Prague 1), it's not easy to find bargain priced hotels there. But some parts of neighboring districts are often closer to top attractions and entertainment, so great hotel deals can still be found when looking in these locations. Here are five cheap luxury hotels in Prague, with budget prices, that offer great value for the money. These are cheap Prague hotels that should meet the needs of the tastes and budgets of a wide range of people. All are within easy access of the center, either by tram, metro or walking. We'll continue to update this list as we find more excellent value for the money hotels in Prague. Please note that prices are approximate and can change based on availability of rooms and the time of the year you visit. The end of the year Holiday season is the most expensive time of year, and during that time prices are typically 50% - 100% higher. The cheapest rates are more readily available when booking well in advance or at the last minute. During the winter months, from November to March, the hotels generally offer low-season rates, which can be 30-50% less than the average summer prices. Eurostar David ****Prague 2Price for double room: 45€ - 75€/night Value for Money: 10/10 Location: 9/10 Comfort: 8/10 This four-star design hotel is located just one block from Prague 1 / Nové Mesto (New Town), but the fact that is has a Prague 2 address means it is cheaper and is therefore one of the best cheap Prague hotel deals we've found. MORE » Strong Points: Large rooms with plasma TV and satellite channels, big comfy beds, large marble bathrooms. Big comfortable desk with free wi-fi. Sauna and fitness center. Hiccups: The reception is rather basic and as the hotel seems to be popular among groups of more than 2 or 3 people, from time to time there will be a lengthy wait at the reception as there is only one person working there. The hotel also asks you to leave the key at the reception when you go out, presumably so the housekeeping can access the room for cleaning. But the housekeeping has their own keys, which you will sometime notice if you like late mornings and haven't yet mastered the controls to the low-tech, traffic light style, "do not disturb" lights displayed in the hallway next to your door. At first glance the hotel seems rather like a 4-star pension, but by the end of your stay you'll probably feel, as we did, that you have discovered one of Prague's hidden gems.
